Hi I’m Lizzie, a service designer from the fens of Lincolnshire, living and working in London.

Like lots of service designers, I've had a squiggly journey into the sector. This experience has shaped the way I see and approach problem solving.

I have a background in fashion design and for many years I balanced running a successful jewellery business with working on high profile music industry projects.

 

I transitioned into service design to focus on work that aligns with my values. It is my belief that if we want to see change we must commit to using our creative energy to wisely exploring challenges with curiosity and openness.

 

Outside of work I’m interested in abstract expressionist art, permaculture, brutalist architecture, reading all the books I bought to look nice but feel guilty about not having read, the art and politics of repair, town planning, and playing the piano (badly).
